Excellent condition Elan Insomnia Fusion skis. 2016 model. Length: 152cm Dimensions: 121:73:104 Elan bindings included. Local pickup, or can deliver to parts of the South East. May be able to arrange postage to other parts of the UK. Great fun skis which carve beautifully on piste. A very stable ride. These skis have been used for two and a half days and are in excellent virtually new condition. The below is taken from the Élan website: Made in our latest Amphibio 4D technology, this ski does short dynamic carves, and it does long and speedy turns. Insomnia Fusion is equipped with our award winning Amphibio® profile, which combines camber and rocker in the same ski. Camber assures greater edge grip, while rocker allows faster and more direct turns. But the Insomnia Fusion also differs in the front and rear profiles of the ski. The Convex front provides better entry into the turn, while the Concave rear guarantees a dynamic exit from the turn. Thanks to Dual Shaped Titanium we have managed to increase torsional stability at the same time as dramatically reducing weight. In addition, this ski is equipped with all the high tech goodies, like RST Sidewalls and the Trulite Woodcore, and it comes in an attractive black and blue color combination. This is the perfect toy for the most demanding ladies looking for performance, dynamics, stability, edge grip. The Insomnia is a race-style, carving-focused ski. It has a versatile, 12.2 m radius and a skinny, 73 mm waist. It's also packed with technology. Amphibio technology optimizes skis to be right- and left-foot specific, designed so that they'll always be edgier on the outside/downhill ski, where power and solidity is most needed, looser and easier to feather on the inside ski, for easy line adjustment. The inside edge of each ski is fully cambered, for maximum effective edge length when it's the outside ski in a turn. The outside edge is tip-rockered, so it's more buoyant and easier to pivot, with a shorter effective edge, when it's the inside ski. RST sidewall technology orients sidewalls vertically, designed to allow the ski to roll up on edge with ease. Trulite Woodcore, a women's-specific core, is comprised of a variety of lightweight wood layered throughout the ski, designed to increase playfulness and maneuverability. Dual Shaped Ti technology integrates a layer of titanium designed to stiffen the ski while reducing weight by replacing other bulkier materials. One section of the titanium is intended for snapping quick turns with the front of the ski, while the other is designed for a smooth and less hooky exit out of the turn with the back of the ski.
